Quanah Parker (1845 - 1911) - Native American
Comanche Chief Quanah Parker was the son of Chief Peta Nocona and captured white settler Cynthia Ann Parker who had assimilated into the tribe. He was a fierce warrior and leader of the Comanche during their last days as an independent power before surrendering at Fort Sill, Oklahoma.
