Color Portrait of Geronimo (1829 - 1909) - Native American

Prominent leader and medicine man of the Chiricahua Apache people. Geronimo became famous for his bravery in the fight against both Mexican and American troops. His band was one of the last major forces of Native American warriors who refused to capitulate to United States occupation of the American West.
